Sadly Labor Day 2015 is officially in the past.  Don't fret though!  The summer temps are sticking around for a weeeee bit longer!  

For this week's outfit I wanted to pay homage to the glorious summer of 2015.  I released my inner sailor girl by slipping into my finest red and white stripes!  I don't follow the "no white after Labor Day" rule because, "frankly my dear, I don't give a damn".  Just like the source of that quote, this fashion faux pas has Gone With the Wind.  (insert wink emoticon)

I'm very excited to share this necklace with you because it was handmade by yours truly!! I have recently opened an Etsy shop called, "Petrichor & Sawdust".  It's a jewelry line specializing in necklaces.  This particular one is part of the "Sand-Star" series.  

These flippy-floppies are not for the timid because they jingle jangle as you walk! The chain detailing mimics a sailors knot so to complete my sailor girl outfit, they were a must!
