Little Miss 1970
Having a 1970's moment! Please give me flowers to braid into my locks of love, man!
Even on this hot summer day, I couldn't resist waiting to feature one of my favorite dresses! I purchased it several years ago and I will continue to wear it until I see the threads unraveling. Even then I may transform the top of it into a shirt with my soon-to-be handy-dandy- sewing skills. *I'm taking an introductory level fashion design class this fall and I'm mucho excited!*
As always, please scroll to the bottom of the post for store listings!
Now you may be thinking, "My gosh that dress is short! Put some pants on young lady!" and I agree!
Without sacrificing the "dress look", I chose to put on some Daisy Duke-esq denim cut-offs underneath.
To me this style dress is a classic! The silhouette, the V-neckline with laced up leather cords is very on-trend this season. I've seen many designers featuring this 70's neckline. From minimal to plunging, the lace-up v-neck has made a comeback!
To complete my look I chose to feature my $10 sale hat from Urban Outfitters! As you may know, when they have sales, they.have. SALES!! I really enjoy pairing navy and gray together. To me it's on the same level as pairing neutral tones together. While I'm not 100% on board to the "navy" and "black" color-blocking trend, I do pay homage to it by adding accents of black. In this outfit I chose a black fringe bag.

Last but never the least, my M.I.A goddess-esq gladiator heels that I purchased on sale for $9.98 yes you read that correctly!! My go-to for shoe shopping is Shop 6pm. I highly recommend checking them out! They also sell designer clothing and other accessories. Definitely worth a "bookmarker" on your browser missy!
*P.S: The sandals have a camouflaged side zipper so it provides easy take-on and take-off functionality!
I've featured these rings once, I'll feature them again because they add some spice and interest to any outfit!
