Outfit Notes: Can you tell I had Kale in my omelet this morning? As strange as it sounds I was inspired by the trendy super food called Kale.
I searched the Impulse section on Macy's.com for green tops and stumbled upon this Free People flowy top. Great for those bloated days! I have always been a fan of the cut out shoulder sleeve. It's flattering on every girl and woman.
Since the top has a lot of volume on the sleeve and mid section, I was on the hunt for a slimming skinny jean. To create a strong contrast against the green hue I searched for a pair in black. I've heard wonderful things about J Brand jeans so I logged onto Intermix website and searched J Brand. Can I just say skinny jean and leather legging heaven! I wish I could afford a pair of.. everything!
It was a tough decision between the black leather skinny leggings and these Alana Crop Skinny jeans. I opted for the Alana's because I wanted the top to be the focal point.
I had been eyeing UrbanOG's Shoe Republic Cana Lucite Pointy Toe Mule Stiletto Pumps ever since i first came across UrbanOG. The silhouette and clear cutout design mimics the shoulder cut out on the Free People top perfectly.
Overall this look can be dressed up with fun accessories for a nighttime look or kept casual for a daytime chic look.
