OOTD: "Wild Wild Western Wear"

                                               Sweater
    Where to Purchase             Skirt
                                               Boots

Outfit Notes: It's another freezing day here in the grotto so while sipping on hot cocoa, I put together a cozy ensemble perfect for work or a casual lunch outing!

The first garment I found was the Zara skirt.  I love asymmetrical skirts and finding a longer version was a rare find! The wonderful thing about a camel color is it can be paired with any color!

In keeping with a cozy feeling, I chose to stick with a neutral color pallet.  The Threadsence sweater is the perfect length to balance out the skirt proportions.

*Style Tip from the Grotto* Partially tuck in the front of the sweater for a causal outing or tuck in entirely for a more polished work- look. Either way the buckle detailing on the waist band of the skirt will be seen.

These boots are made for walking! While working at Anthropologie , I've noticed several fabulous boots with a boho vibe such as, FRYE. Naturally I logged onto Anthro's site and searched through several pages of boots.  It was so hard to pick just one because there were at least 4 others that could have taken the cake! After much thought and deliberation I opted for the Lydia boots. What sold me was the unique western patterned tapestry called, "vintage kilim" (under item description).

Maybe it's the graphic designer in me but I love how visually the viewer's eye begins at the asymmetrical skirt and travels down to the boots. The sharp point on the bottom hemline of the skirt seems to point to the boots while mimicking the zig-zag pattern of the tapestry.

There you have it fellow fashionistas! Please check back tomorrow for the next OOTD!

Stay fashionable and true to you!
