#OOTD "Down to Earth" Outfit

Overwhelmed by numerous amounts of amazing apparel items when you log onto your favorite store's website?  Well take that credit card out of your shaky hand and sit back and relax! I've conjured up some outfits based on pieces I've found from my favorite shopping destinations and online only retailers that just might tickle your fancy. From chic to sporty chic and everything in between.

Outfit Notes: If Mother Nature was a human being, she would totally rock this outfit in a heartbeat!
For this look I was inspired by this Anthropologie Glinted Sweater Skirt.  I spotted it at my local Anthropologie store when I was in training yesterday!  Yes, I am thrilled to share with you that I am starting a new chapter in my "job" life!  My ultimate goal is to become a member of the in-store visual display team! Ahhh I could live in that art room creating 24/7 if I could!
Okie back to the fashion!!!

To me the skirt is very "Carrie Bradshaw"-esq.  I wanted to find a unique sheer top that would add a fun and flirty element to the heavy bottom.  Finding this Threadsence Fields of Green Tank was like finding the golden ticket in a Wonka bar! (now you have the song stuck in your head as well, right? You're welcome!) The moss green color and intricate embroidery over the fine mesh fabric, creates a fun mix of patterns with the skirt without it being too overpowering.

If you're as brave as Ms. Bradshaw, you could rock a black or dark green bra underneath (see picture) or if you want a more tame look, simply layer a neutral colored camisole underneath.
*Style tip: I would tuck in the camisole underneath to avoid a frumpy situation.  Eek!

Stay fashionable!
