#OOTD "An ode to The Captain" Outfit

Overwhelmed by numerous amounts of amazing apparel items when you log onto your favorite store's website?  Well take that credit card out of your shaky hand and sit back and relax! I've conjured up some outfits based on pieces I've found from my favorite shopping destinations and online only retailers that just might tickle your fancy. From chic to sporty chic and everything in between.

Outfit Notes:  In case it's not already obvious, I was inspired by the Yankees!  Tonight was Derek Jeter's last home game.  As I watched the bittersweet game I created this look.

I immediately knew what top I would feature because I see it everyday at work.  To me it screams,"Yankee game" material!  The Athleta Powerhouse Tank is sporty yet delicate and the navy blue straps mimic pinstripes in my opinion.

Instead of going with basic blue jeans I waned to have fun with a print!  These Threadsence On A Journey Lounge Pants was a "home run" find (couldn't refrain sorry).  I'm a big fan of paisley print so there was zero hesitation in choosing these pants.  The vertical panel on the outer leg creates an elongated illusion so it flatters several body types.

When it came to finding the right shoes to complete this Yankee game look, I imeditaley searched for Converse sneakers!  Can't get any more Americana then those babies!  I went with the OX Navy color
instead of white because I wanted the focus to be on the straps on the top as well as the patterned pants.

I had a lot of fun creating this Yankee inspired outfit!  Whether or not you're going to a game, please consider wearing this outfit anytime of the year!  Can't go wrong with navy and white fellow fashionistas.  It's a classic combination!

Stay fashionable!
