Personal Shopping: "Peek-a-boo" Outfit

Overwhelmed by numerous amounts of amazing apparel items when you log onto your favorite store's website?  Well take that credit card out of your shaky hand and sit back and relax!  I've conjured up some outfits based on pieces I've found from my favorite shopping destinations and online only retailers that just might tickle your fancy.  From chic to sporty chic and everything in between!

Outfit Notes:  I was inspired by the upcoming Fall season.  Crisp morning air, pumpkin pickin' and apple cider sippin'!  Here's a "road map" to my final look pictured above...

First things first.. I'm the realest my apologies, I couldn't contain my inner Iggy. Okay back to the fashion!  I searched for intricate cami tops online. When it comes to finding layering pieces, I'm very inspired by solid colored tunics/ camis that have a unique embroidered pattern on the bottom hem.

1. Once I found the AERO "Lorimer Sheer Woven Tunic" I was on the hunt for a fun sweater to layer on top.  I fell in love with the Threadsence "Cinnamon Creek Sweater".  The strong contrasting horizontal lines mixed with chevron stripes and my favorite Charlie Brown-esq zig-zag bottom pattern, plays upon the tunic's horizontal and scalloped hemline.

2. My next mission was to find a legging that would give the wearer some shape since the top half is an oversized look. This is especially important for "vertically challenged" girlies and women like myself.  Being an Athleta employee I instantly thought of the Plie tight!  Some people hear the word tight and cringe however, the fabric is not sheer whatsoever. They feel like buttah once you slip into them.  The ankle area is color blocked for a high sock/ leg warmer illusion.  The tunic length will hide your you-know-what areas so need not worry.

3. Last but not least time to find ze boots!  I found these adorable MUK LUKS on 6pm.com.  Not only was the rich maroon color perfect to compliment the large stripe in the sweater but the wide ankle opening helped to balance the proportion of the entire outfit.  If you are not a fan of ankle boots, I suggest a mid-calf boot.

Stay fashionable!
